HUNTER FOUNDED. ENGINEER DRIVEN.

Built From a Need in the Field

Meadow Creek Mounts began with a problem hunters knew well—and one hunter with the engineering background and determination to solve it.

BUILT AT THE BENCH. PROVEN IN THE FIELD.

Tested where failure isn’t an option.

Before the first Meadow Creek Mount was offered for sale, the design spent two years being tested and refined under real recoil and real hunting conditions.

HOW IT STARTED

A problem worth solving

Before Meadow Creek Mounts was a company, it was a question Greg Maher kept seeing hunters ask: How can I mount an optic on a shotgun that isn’t drilled and tapped?

It was a problem Greg had himself. Rather than permanently modify a shotgun, he began developing a mount that could attach directly to the rib. Years of prototyping followed, including two full years of field testing to make sure the design worked where it mattered.

In 2020, Meadow Creek Mounts officially launched at the National Wild Turkey Federation Convention. The company took its name from Meadow Creek—the place Greg called home when the business began.

Designed through testing, refined through real customer feedback.

THE HUNTER BEHIND THE MOUNT

Built with an engineer’s discipline and a hunter’s perspective

Greg earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Clemson University. That engineering background gave Meadow Creek Mounts the foundation it needed—from early design and material decisions to structured testing and continual refinement.

But the products are not designed from theory alone. When you buy from Meadow Creek Mounts, you are buying from a hunter who personally saw the need, designed a solution and tested it in the field.

01

No permanent modification

Our rib mounts make it possible to add an optic without drilling and tapping the shotgun.

02

Fast, personal improvements

As a one-man operation, Greg hears customer feedback directly and can turn useful ideas into product changes quickly.

03

We make problems right

If a customer has an issue, the priority is solving it—whether that means immediately sending another mount or heading to the mill to create a solution for a unique fitment.

BUILT FOR MORE THAN ONE SEASON

From the turkey woods to the clays course

Turkey hunters remain at the heart of Meadow Creek Mounts, but the advantage of a well-mounted optic extends across shotgun sports.

Greg calls an optic on a shotgun a “cheat code for flying birds.” Sporting-clays and trap shooters regularly send in scorecards showing the improvement they have made after adding an optic.

THE MEADOW CREEK PROMISE

We want every customer confident in the field.

Customer satisfaction is not a department here—it is a direct conversation with the person responsible for the product. If something is not right, we work quickly to make it right.
