Preferred Mounting Method
Rib Mounts
A rib mount attaches directly to the ventilated rib of your shotgun without requiring permanent modification, drilling, or tapping.
Mounting the optic farther forward places it at a more natural distance from your eye. This improves visibility around the optic and helps keep the sight from obstructing your view of the target and surrounding area.

Natural Field of View
The forward position allows you to see naturally around the optic instead of having the optic dominate your field of view.

Less Lens Fogging
The optic is farther from your face, making it less likely that your breath will fog the lens during cold early mornings.

Fast Target Acquisition
The natural optic position makes it easy to shoot with both eyes open and quickly acquire the target.

Gun-specific mount slots are slightly oversized to accommodate normal inconsistencies in factory shotgun ribs. Once properly clamped, the mount will not move.
* If ordering the Universal Rib Mount and you would like to install it on a Browning Maxus 1, you must also add the Browning Maxus 1 bottom plate to your cart. If ordering for a Winchester SXP or Benelli M1 Super 90, you must add 7/16" mount screws to your cart. Those products can be found here.
Drilled and Tapped Required
Receiver Mounts
Receiver mounts attach to a drilled and tapped shotgun receiver and position the optic closer to the shooter’s face.
This closer position can make shooting with both eyes open slightly more difficult and may feel less natural when acquiring the target. Receiver mounts remain a useful option for shotguns without a suitable ventilated rib or for shooters who prefer receiver-mounted optic placement.
Matching another shotgun:
If you want to drill your receiver using the same spacing and screw
threads as another shotgun from the same manufacturer, simply select
that shotgun as your configuration.

Each of these shotguns uses a specific mount. We have engineered every model to position the optic as low as possible.
Some single-shot shotguns have a raised stud welded to the barrel. Our mounts position the optic forward of that stud so the optic can be lowered instead of being forced to sit above it.
